The natural disaster I have chosen has been the hurricane. The hurricane that I liked the most was Katrina, among others was Ike, Audrey, Sandy and Charley.

The tropical depression that became Hurricane Katrina formed over the Bahamas on August 23, 2005, and meteorologists were soon able to warn people in the Gulf Coast states that a major storm was on its way. By August 28, evacuations were underway across the region. That day, the National Weather Service predicted that after the storm hit, “most of the [Gulf Coast] area will be uninhabitable for weeks…perhaps longer.” By 9 a.m., low-lying places like St. Bernard Parish and the Ninth Ward were under so much water that people had to scramble to attics and rooftops for safety. Eventually, nearly 80 percent of the city was under some quantity of water and there were many losses.

(MARGA)- What are you going to do this summer?

(MARTA)- This summer, in June I’m going to Sevilla with my little sister to visit our aunts and we are going to Almuñecar too to visit our grandparents. What are you going to do?

(MARGA)- I’m going to stay in Can Picafort all summer.

(MARTA)- What will you do in Can Picafort?

(MARGA)- I’m going to stay with friends, going to the beach and lots of other thing that I doesn’t plan. What things are you going to do in Sevilla?

(MARTA)- I’m going to meet with my friends, going to stay in the house of my aunts, going to the village fair and other things. Are you going to invite me at your house?

(MARGA)- Yes, of course. YOu only have to tell me which day would you want to come.

(MARTA)- Oh thank you! Okay, bye bye Marga.

(MARGA)- Bye, bye Marta, see you soon!!!!

NEW YORK IS COMING!

If I go to New York, I will visit a lot of sites.

I will visit: Central Park:It’s a public park in Manhattan. Empire State Building: It’s a skyscraper located in the 5th Avenue. Statue of Liberty: It’s one of the most famous monuments in New York. The Museum Guggenheim: It’s a museum of art in the number 1071 in the 5th Avenue. Chinatown: It’s in Manhattan. There live a large population of Chinese and their families. Brooklyn Bridge: The bridge joins Manhattan and Brooklyn in New York city. Little Italy: It’s located in Manhattan and is named after being populated by many italian people. Times Square: It’s an intersection of Manhattan. Disney World: It’s a very large park located in Orlando. I would also like to visit other places but as they are many more I will not put them. I hope this day comes because my dream is to go to New York.
